At Night
Once the sun has set there are many places to dine both in Alvor and Portimao. From freshly caught seafood on the BBQ to a selection of local meat dishes. All restaurants are excellent at catering for children.
Alvor has many great small bars if you are looking for somewhere to relax after having a nice meal. They have a little something for everyone from local beer and wine to a bar that specifically serves cocktails. Live music can be enjoyed in some of the bars.
For bars and clubs then the places to visit are Praia Da Rocha and Albuferia. Praia Da Rocha is basically an extension of Portimao and has an array of bars and restaurants on the long street down by the waterfront. It will take 5-10 minutes in a taxi to get here. Albuferia is slightly further away from the apartment but
has a great array of bars and restaurants. Be aware that it will take 20-25 minutes in a taxi to get here so this might need to be figured in when planning your evenings ahead.
